Bleed slit / Gutter slit

Nothing can remove bleed gutters from sheets like a Rollem.

Rollem is the only system (patent applied for) that can go from the usual 6mm gutters down to a gutter size of 0.8mm – try that on a guillotine!

Why 0.8mm? Because this gives you more images on a sheet – 25 business cards on an SRA3 sheet rather than 16 for instance.

This also means less waste produced to help the environment, smaller sheet sizes to help your pocket and less waste to clog up your waste extraction system.

If you are worried about print registration on a 0.8mm then have a look at the Rollem AutoLay system, which can adjust to print image drift, and other registration problems, on the fly with no speed penalty.

Rollem machines are supremely accurate, each sheet being processed exactly the same. Very tight tolerances of 0.001" are not unusual in the playing card industry who insist on Rollem machines, and the CD inlay industry are loyal to Rollem as only we can provide the 0.1mm tolerance on large lightweight sheets.

Sheets that are exceptionally curly or that are embossed or thermographed are no trouble as there is no stack to crush or misalign; each sheet is carefully and accurately handled individually at high speed.

Slit in combination with other processes like perforating and creasing, giving productivity and quality in one pass.
